DACA Water Polo was established to foster and promote the
amateur sport of water polo. DACA Water Polo is a year-round
United States Water Polo Club open to kids aged 8 years
old and older who want to learn about the sport of water
polo, develop new skills, or enhance their current skill
level. Our goal is to establish a fun, supportive, and positive
environment where players of all levels can improve their
skills and enjoy competition on a local, regional, national
and international levels.
The DACA water polo program is offered on a seasonal basis.
Each session is designed to address the needs of the participants
and will include instructional practices employing the fundamentals
of the game, strategy and execution, conditioning, scrimmages
and tournament play. Minimum of 12 students per class. Students
must have intermediate swimming skills and be deep-water
safe.
Summer 2008 Water Polo program will be held at De Anza College from June 16, 2008 through August 8, 2008.
